Glimpse Into How Art Has Impacted My Life’s Journey

Hello, my name is Rebekah.  I am a mother, career nanny, and trained lifelong artist. Through all the seasons of my life, art has been there for me as a form of therapy.  It has been a wonderful tool to help reduce stress, and manage PTSD, emotional, mental, and physical needs. It has encouraged me to allow myself time to unwind, which resulted in confidence to grow in many areas of my life. A part of this growth is realizing that my artwork does not have to look “perfect”, and that the process itself establishes a safe space, where I am free to experience the benefits of creative self-expression.

My journey has included a wide range of unexpected twists and turns. Through these, I see how God is miraculously piecing my experiences together, creating a masterpiece on the canvas of my life. Thus, revealing my life’s purposes of motherhood, serving others, and allowing my creative soul to thrive while using my art experience & education to guide others through the Therapeutic Art process. My passion is to provide the opportunity for others to experience the benefits of this life-giving process.
